AL JABAL ARABIANS
Our Horses
The horses of AL JABAL ARABIANS represent generations of careful breeding and a commitment to the preservation of the Straight Egyptian Arabian horse.
Our Stallions
While the Abayyan Um Jurays remains at the heart of our preservation programme, not every stallion used at AL JABAL ARABIANS comes from the Abayyan line. With the Straight Egyptian gene pool becoming increasingly narrow, responsible preservation also requires careful consideration of genetic diversity and complementary bloodlines.
Over many years of breeding, I have found that the Saklawi strain can complement Abayyan blood particularly well, bringing qualities that can strengthen and balance the resulting breeding programmes while still keeping the preservation of the Abayyan heritage at the centre of our work.
For us, preservation does not mean breeding within a closed circle. It means understanding the bloodlines, knowing what each can contribute, and making thoughtful choices that protect the heritage while allowing it to remain healthy and viable for the future.
